Terms of use
For Sunderlands: Ancient Realm on every platform. Last updated 8 November 2026.
1. Who we are
Sunderlands: Ancient Realm ("the game") is made by Serion Labs, a brand of SERION (see the legal notice). By installing or playing the game you accept these terms. If you got the game from a store, that store's own terms also apply to the download and the payment.
2. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to install the game on your own devices and play it for your own, non-commercial use. The game, its code, art, music, sounds, text and characters belong to Serion Labs and are protected by copyright. You can share screenshots and videos of your play, including on channels that earn money; please mention the game's name.
3. The full game
The beginning of the game is free. The full game ("The Deep Key") is a one-time purchase that opens the rest of the game for good. There are no ads and no subscription.
- On Android you buy it through Google Play, at the price Google Play shows in your currency. Google Play takes the payment and its refund rules apply. The purchase belongs to your Google account: use Restore in the game to get it back on another device.
- On iPhone and iPad you buy it through the App Store. Apple takes the payment and its refund rules apply, and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms. Use Restore in the game to get the purchase back on another device with the same Apple ID. Apple is not responsible for the game or its support: we are.
- On PC, when it's available, the full terms of sale will be shown before you pay.
- Codes. We sometimes give away promo codes. Each one works once, before its end date, and can't be exchanged for money or sold.
4. What you may not do
You may not sell, rent or share copies of the game or its unlock; copy or redistribute its art, music or code; or reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law allows it. The game is played alone and offline, so how you play your own copy is up to you.
5. Updates
We may update the game to fix bugs, improve it or add content. The game doesn't need our servers to run, so the full game you bought keeps working on your device even if we stop updating it.
6. Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, including the legal guarantee that digital content conforms to its description. For digital content delivered at once, you agree when you buy that delivery starts straight away, and you accept that you then lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). The store's refund rules still apply.
7. Liability
We make the game with care, but we can't promise it will run without any bug on every device. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. This doesn't limit our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
8. Disputes
Write to us first at contact@serionholding.com: most problems are solved quickly. If we can't agree, as a consumer you can turn to a consumer mediator free of charge. The list of approved mediators is on the French consumer mediation website. These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of its mandatory consumer laws and may go to its courts.
9. Changes
We may update these terms, for example when the PC version goes on sale. The date at the top shows the latest version. A change never takes away a purchase you've already made.
